BE... involved in shaping Scouting's future
Scouting has a lot to be proud of and young people have been at the heart of our success. But the world moves on and Scouting has to keep up, and we need to know what Scouting should look like in five years time.

We know that we want to grow so that more people can take part in the everyday adventure Scouting provides. We want to make a difference on the issues we care about and help out people in our communities. We want everyone to enjoy Scouting; whether boy or girl, rich or poor... whatever background you’re from. And we rightly want this movement to be shaped by young people.

Our vision for how Scouting should be in 2018 is in place and it is time to turn that into action. We want Scouting to make a difference to those issues our young people care about, and help young people see that together they can make an impact and a change.

What is BE...?
BE… is a new campaign to encourage Scouts to air their views and help make Scouting even better. The BE… website is a place where young people (aged 12-25) can discuss Scouts with other people their age and have their say on how the Movement should grow

How can Scouts, Explorers and Network members get involved?
Scouts can share their thoughts and opinions on the BE… website and upload videos, blogs, photos and illustrations – anything that they can think of that will help get their ideas across. It’s quick and easy for them to sign up and post – all we need are some basic details and their opinions.

As well as the BE… website there is a survey for members aged 12-25 on the issues that matter to them https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2JYB7Z8 Encourage your young people to take part and be in with a chance to win £500 for your group

What age is BE… for?
BE… is for all young members aged 12-25
